Privacy Policy
Smiling Faces privacy policy
Smiling Faces is designed to be private, simple, and low-friction. Ordinary app use and the public browser demo do not require an account or use advertising, analytics, social SDKs, or third-party tracking. Private licensee trials use one strictly necessary access cookie.
Effective date: July 18, 2026
Who operates Smiling Faces
Smiling Faces is operated independently. For questions, use the licensing interest form or the contact details provided through Smiling Faces channels.
Information the game collects
The Smiling Faces app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data during ordinary play. It does not require a name, email address, account, demographic details, health information, or quiz results.
The app stores only local preferences on your device, such as portrait display mode and grid size. These preferences stay on your device.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
The Smiling Faces app and public browser demo do not include analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, session replay, social sharing SDKs, or third-party telemetry.
Game results
The Smiling Faces app is intended as a private attention-practice experience. It does not send game results to Smiling Faces or to third parties.
Licensing interest forms
If you submit a licensing interest form, Smiling Faces sends the email address and details you provide to the Smiling Faces CRM intake. That may include your name, organization, role, intended use, audience size, licensing interest, timeline, and basic source/referrer fields.
Private licensee trials
If a licensee-trial request is approved, the private access link is connected to the prospect's CRM contact record by an internal identifier. Opening the link stores a secure, strictly necessary browser cookie so the link token can be removed from the visible address and the browser can recognize the trial during its limited access period.
For commercial follow-up, the trial access service records only whether the trial was opened, whether a session was started, and whether a session was completed. It does not record scores, response times, selected faces, health information, or the content of local session history. Browser access ends on the stated expiry date. The access record is retained for up to 30 additional days solely so the same link can be checked, revoked, or extended, then it is automatically deleted. Trial records are not a separate signup database.
Phone beta interest list
If you join the phone beta interest list, Smiling Faces sends the email address you provide, your selected platform interest, optional name, optional organization, optional role, your consent confirmation, and basic page/source/referrer fields to the Smiling Faces CRM intake.
Beta interest details are used only to invite people to Android or iPhone testing, send beta access updates, and understand demand for the phone version. They are not game results, health information, or quiz results, and they are not sold or shared for advertising.
Children
Smiling Faces is intended for adults unless a licensed deployment specifies otherwise. It is not directed to children.
Health and medical disclaimer
Smiling Faces is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a mental-health assessment. It does not claim to treat any condition or measure wellbeing.
